A Memory Cafe Comes to Burlingame

San Mateo County’s aging population is growing, and along with that comes higher rates of Alzheimer’s.  Learn how the Burlingame Parks and Recreation Department, along with partner organizations, is providing services for the Alzheimer’s population through Memory Cafes.  Hear what a Memory Café is, the benefits, what is needed to start one, and how the Burlingame program is showing early signs of success.  Presented by Recreation Coordinator Corrie Fuhrman.
