Our next lunch meeting will be on Wednesday, June 12th at 12:15pm at Poplar Creek. Our speaker will be Kate Comfort Harr from HIPP Housing who will speak on the housing crisis locally and in the Bay Area; and the activities of HIPP Housing to help address the housing crisis.
Let’s Review What Happened Last Week:
On June 5th we heard about Team River Runner and the Memorial Day Weekend race for disabled racers organized by our own Emily Matthews. We were joined by visitors from the community (including Burlingame Mayor Donna Colson) and our neighboring San Mateo club who were all interested in the program. We also welcomed Burlingame Vice Mayor Emily Beach as our newest member with Joe Galligan presenting Emily her round badge.
