In high school, Renatto played on the varsity football team while taking multiple AP classes. At UC Davis he majored in psychology while service as a Bible study leader and working as a peer advisor to support other first-generation college students. After graduation he served with the AmeriCorps program City Year Miami, helping under-resourced students succeed in high school. Now he is a Site Director for the non-profit Improve Your Tomorrow, where he mentors dozens of low-income students, paying forward the mentoring he received through Rotary.
